All designs must be cut in reverse, ensuring the vinyl side is facing up and the clear rigid plastic backing is facing down. 2. Remove the vinyl other than the desired pattern, leaving only the desired pattern on the clear liner. Apply the vinyl with your design to your shirt and place the Teflon high-temperature fabric on top of your design for insulation to reduce damage to the fabric from the heat. Home Iron: Heat your iron to a moderate temperature (302°F- 320°F); press all parts of your design for 10-15 seconds at medium/set pressure; pressure: approx. 10 lbs. Hotpress: preheat garment for 2-3 seconds; apply design at 305°F; use medium pressure for 10-15 seconds. After only 15-30 seconds the vinyl has cooled, peel off the clear PVC backing paper after the vinyl has cooled.
