Product Description of Iron On Heat Transfer Vinyl
We have different types of t-shirt heat transfer materials available here. We now have over 30 different cuttable heat transfer vinyl in hundreds of different colors and patterns. To simplify the selection, we have divided them into the following categories: PU and PVC heat transfer films, hot and cold peel, special fabrics, and special effects.
PU and PVC: Polyurethane heat transfer films are the ideal medium for transferring graphics on T-shirts. These PU products tend to be thinner and more flexible, so they feel like part of the garment. This soft “hand” makes them ideal for garment graphics. In addition to their softness and conformability, PU films also comply with CPSIA or OekoTex standard 100. they are child safe!
PVC T-shirt vinyl is usually thicker and cheaper. Thicker means that they are less flexible and do not feel as soft as PU. Hot or cold peel: The time required for the adhesive to cure before the liner is removed can be an important factor in productivity. Most conventional hot-peel films need to be cooled to room temperature before the liner is removed. This allows the adhesive to fully bond to the fabric.
If you are applying multiple colors, especially in layers, the waiting time can be frustrating. For these more complex designs, warm peel products can save time.
