Product Description Of Reflective Chevron Tape Stickers
NFPA 1901 states that fire trucks and emergency vehicles shall have alternating yellow and red chevron striping applied to 50% of the rear of the vehicle. The 6″ stripes must slant downward from the center at a 45-degree angle and must alternate red and yellow. This category features a wide variety of pre-made reflective chevron panels. We use a conformable prismatic material and a red or orange overlay to create these panels. All of our panels are easy to apply. We carry One Piece Panels where the stripes go out and down in both directions on one panel. Just peel and stick to apply.
We also carry Two-Piece Panels that come as a left and right-hand slant. When the two panels are applied together they create the same pattern as our one-piece panels. The two-piece panels are more economical. To apply just peel and stick the left-hand panel and then do the same with the right-hand panel.

We carry high-quality self-adhesive, flexible, peel, and stick reflective chevron, Battenburg, and block-style panels.
Our “ONE PIECE” Horizontal Reflective NFPA Chevron Panels (6″ wide stripes) are longer than they are tall and have stripes that slant downward in both directions. We carry 4″, 6″, 8″, and 12″ wide horizontal panels in lengths from 3 to 7 feet.
A more affordable option would be our “TWO PIECE” Reflective Chevron Panel Kits” (6″ wide stripes) which consist of equal amounts of right and left-hand slant material. We carry Lime/Red, Orange/White, and Red/White.
We offer Pre-Striped Reflective Chevron Panels “BY THE FOOT” in rolls. We also have the Pre-Striped rolls in “30 FOOT” and “150 FOOT”lengths. We carry “Solid” Colored Reflective Chevron Striping Tape in Fluorescent Lime/Yellow, Red, Fluorescent Orange, School Bus Yellow, White, and Blue. Striping tape rolls are used in situations where a panel is not practical or for an area that is larger than what a panel will cover.
Purchasing our Starter Triangles along with our 6″ rolls of chevron striping makes creating chevrons much easier and more exact. Striping with rolls of reflective tape is less expensive than using panels and takes a little extra install time. Our Reflective Chevron COMBO KITS combines two rolls of reflective material at a discount.
Lastly, we carry “Do it Yourself” Chevron Kits.” These kits are an alternative to our premade reflective panels. You basically purchase the material we use to make the panels and do them on site. Kits consist of a reflective base material and a 6″ red overlay to create the red stripes. The resulting chevrons are an exact match for our panels.
1. Pre-Fabricated Chevron Kits
Sheets of 6-inch reflective sheeting can be pre-assembled and even trimmed to the exact size or in sheets that you trim. This saves installation time and waste because your installer installs one piece just like “wallpaper”. The other advantage over printed panels is that any damaged stripe can be replaced.
2. Printed Chevron Panels
High-intensity grade panels up to 48 inches wide can have the “red” or another color digitally printed over the base white, or yellow or fluorescent lime green. These are easy to prepare since you trim as required and are very easy to install. The disadvantage is that the replacement of a “damaged” section requires the removal and replacement of the panel involved. Custom sizes can be produced.

Bumpers kits can be prefabricated and “hot-cut” (sealed).
4. Prefabricated Pre-Cut Chevron Kits For Pickup Tailgates
All common models of pickups used by Emergency services can be pre-printed and pre-cut for perfect installation using the new prismatic technology. Compound bends are avoided.
Simply apply the sections. You must specify if decal emblems are to be removed and repositioned over the chevron or not to be removed. If not removed, the chevron will be pre-cut around the emblems. Installation can be done in minutes instead of hours.

Which is the best product to use for prefabricated chevrons?
It all depends on what you want.
If you want to use a long period of time, the best is the acrylic surface film of reflective chevron tape, the inner layer is PC material. This kind of reflective tape is more expensive. And it is not applicable with a curved surface.
If you wish to use chevron reflective tape on curved surfaces, it is recommended to use PVC material. PVC is softer, fits on curved surfaces, does not warp, and is cheaper, but the service life is generally only 1-3 years.
