Q. Why choose heat transfer labels?

A: Some people worry about their customers cutting out labels with their branding on them. With heat transfers, your branding stays for dozens and dozens of washings and no one can rip it out! In addition, we have many customers using heat transfer labels to produce graphics and designs on their clothing products.

Q. Can I use your heat transfer logos on Infant/Baby Clothes?

A: If you are making baby clothes, especially for newborns, soft woven or printed labels could work very well and is often used. If you are really concerned about a label rubbing against an infant??s skin, then a heat transfer label is best.

If you really like the look of a woven label, you can put a heat transfer in the neck area and a woven label on the outside trim.

Q. Is it suitable for use on Athletic Gear?

A: For athletic gear or workout clothes, a woven label could potentially irritate someone’s skin during a lot of activity. Heat transfer labels would eliminate this problem and are very popular with athletic gear manufacturing.

Q. Have different sizes (S, M, L) to place on the labels?

A: The downside to ordering heat transfer labels is splitting the order up between different sizes. Since these labels are silk-screened and a plate is set up for each design, each size would be considered a whole new order. If your artwork has different sizes, talk to a sales rep to see what kind of price is offered.

Another option is purchasing heat transfers with the logo and buying separate, small, stock-size tabs to sew on a top seam.

Q. Can you help me design my logo/artwork?

A: Yes. Free design.

Q. What is your minimum order for heat transfer logos & labels?

A: Our minimum order is 100 pieces. Anything lower than this we are unable to produce at a low cost to you.

Which file formats do you accept for submitted artwork? You can send your art in whichever format you’d like. Our Art Department’s preferred file formats are cdr, eps, pdf, ai, and SVG. We will also accept PSD, jpg, gif, BMP, tiff, and png. No pubs or embroidery files, please!

Q. Will I be able to approve my art before my heat transfer labels & logos are produced?

A: Yes. All artwork is emailed to you before going to production unless you request otherwise. If you do not have an email address, a sales executive will make arrangements with you to send your artwork via another method.

Q. Will I be able to see a sample of my heat transfer logo & labels before they are all made?

A: Yes. free sample after payment, we will email you a sample of your actual label within three business days of artwork approval.

Q. How long will it take to receive my heat transfer logo & labels?

A: Production is normally 6~9 business days from the final digital proof or sample approval date.

Q. Is there a standard heat transfer logo & label size?

A: No. All the labels we do are custom, however, our most popular sizes for Labels are 20x50mm (3/4″ * 2″)

Q. Will my Labels come out looking like my art?

A: Yes, your labels will look like the artwork upon which it is based. If your design has very small or extra-fine detail, Printed Labels are a good alternative.

Q. How many colors may I have on my heat transfer logo & labels?

A: Our heat transfer logo & label production machines produce labels with a maximum of 12 colors. All 12 of these colors are included at no extra charge to you. Because Labels allow for significant blending of colors, often, the look of more colors is easily achieved.

Q. How do I choose colors?

A: Unless you have a particular Pantone; or exact colors that must be on your design, our artists will match the colors in your design as closely as possible to our thread colors (We do not always guarantee an exact match). please contact us and ask for the thread colors chart.

Q. What is the smallest lettering can be?

A: Without sacrificing quality and legibility, all lettering should be the equivalent of 10 points(2mm height) or larger in a standard word processing program.

Q. What different backings can go on my heat transfer label?

A: Heat Seal: Another word for iron-on. Allows you to apply your patch onto a garment using a home iron. If you are planning to wash your garment more than 50-80 times after the patch is applied, it is recommended that the heat seal only be used for pre-placement before sewing, and then followed up with a few tag stitches along the patch to hold it in place longer. NOTE: Heatseal will NOT stick to nylon. VELCRO: One (hook) side or both sides are available

Adhesive: This is a peel and sticks backing to hold a patch in place for a single event. Will not hold up to machine washing. If you desire your patch to stay in place permanently, go with the heat seal option, or plastic and sew your heat transfer logos & labels.
